We booked our stay on quite a short notice and we were very pleased by the whole experience. The room was amazing - clean, spacious and you could see the effort put into the design and matching of every detail. The bathroom actually inspired us to make some changes at our own house. And the finishing touch - the Amazon Echo - was brilliant. We probably spent most of the night just playing with it!
Also a special thanks for providing a vegetarian breakfast which was boasting a nice variety of options. Can't find any faults - a huge thanks to the owners. 5 out of 5

Spent 2 nights here as it is close to Capernwray diving centre. Rooms spacious with a very comfortable bed and tea/coffee. Cake was always available downstairs should you feel peckish! Hosts are very welcoming. Breakfast is fabulous - great selection available. Lovely historic building that is really well decorated inside. It is virtually opposite the pub (which serves evening meals.) Although it is on the main road, the village doesn't seem to get too much traffic and the property had modern windows so not really an issue. Easy parking on a quiet road just a few metres from the property. Will definitely go back.

Really lovely B&B just off the M6. Great hosts, a beautifully appointed room and sumptuous breakfast. Don't be put off by the slightly shabby exterior (it's an ongoing project) - inside the house is quirky, cosy and full of charm. A great place to stay . . .

This B&B looks nothing from the outside but it's first class inside, with a nice Scandinavian-type theme going on. Lovely room (the en-suite one) and fantastic breakfast that would put a lot of five star hotels to shame.

Having done the waterfall trail and having a date night, the room was very comfy and spacious.
Kings arms was a nice little pub had some food, standard pub grub.. Great service...
Breakfast was on another level though at this little place, was so much variety, they hadn't forgot a thing. Defo gone the extra mile.
Quirky character property which is very cosy. Great place

What a gem of a place this is! We stayed for 1 night on the way to Scotland and were absolutely delighted with Hutton House, the accommodation and wonderful hospitality of Alba and Simon (not to mention the adorable Marcus!!). The rooms were immaculate, warm and inviting and breakfast was just amazing with everything from warm chocolate croissants, fabulous fruit and a full English to die for!
Nothing was too much trouble. When we returned from an evening meal at the lovely pub across the road, Alba had provided fresh-baked almond brittle as a treat - it was delicious!

My partner and I needed to book a two night stay in the area to be closer to family over the weekend. We decided to book Hutton House due to it's amazing reviews. When we arrived we could see why people had rated it so highly! This truly is a gorgeous house. The rooms are beautifully decorated and bathrooms finished to a very high standard. What I was really impressed with was the fresh coffee and cafetiere in the room, this was a big deal to me as I love my coffee! Also, there was a little fridge just outside the room with fresh milk in it so you could really make a good brew! The hosts, Simon and Alba are just lovely and really make you feel at home. Breakfast was the best I'd ever had with so much choice! Will definitely be returning for another relaxing break. Thank you for such a lovely stay :) xx
